I thought I'd post some pics of our nursery. These are a few weeks old now, but it's mostly done. Will post more soon - she's almost here so we need to finish!

A New Grey-baby

Since greyhounds are like potato chips - you can't just have one - we've added to our little family. Meet Tully! He's 2 years old, and a real lovey dog. He gets along great with his new greyhound brother Rua, and is learning our house rules fairly quickly. (We're still learning that, just because someone's in the kitchen it does not mean you are getting a treat...). :D

Our girlie Willow, 1998-2010

Jason and I are heartbroken to say that our Willow was put to sleep yesterday. She had been diagnosed with a tumor on her heart in early January, and because she was almost 12 we decided not to put her through any aggressive treatments. We thought we were going to lose her at the end of January, but she rallied for a bit. She finally started getting worse a few days ago, and so we made that tough decision, before she was noticeably in pain. We will miss her terribly.

Just a quick update to explain to the 3 people who read my blog why I haven't posted anything in ages (although you probably already know!). Jason and I found out in November that we're expecting a baby! Yikes! I've been pretty ill for the past couple months, so have been laying low. We're due July 4th. No patriotic name suggestions, please, we've had our fill. :)

I just made these yesterday, and sold the pair on the card to my lunch companion for a birthday gift. That wasn't planned, but Yay!
